Silver Screen is a Johnstown-based rock band molded in the living room of a house Ben Ressler and Austin Danel shared in 2016. The band, Stephen Platt (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Ben Ressler (lead guitar), Kody Ofsanko (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Robbi Rummell (bass), and Austin Danel (drums), debuted with the EP “Inertia.” The single “Labeled Off” made waves with the release of a video. In May 2020 Silver Screen released their second EP, including their single “Drugs.”

Silver Screen has opened for acts such as Blind Melon and Trapt at The Crafthouse in Pittsburgh and Buckcherry at the Vinosky Winery, and we’re delighted to welcome them to our festival for the very first time.
