Press coverage of the festival begins this weekend! We’ll keep a running tab of our coverage in this post, and update with hotlinks when possible.

  • Sunday, July 26 — Tribune-Democrat: Preview festival coverage appeared.
  • 1160 WCCS, Indiana: The Acoustic Hour with Anthony Frazier (9:00-10:00 am on Sunday, July 26) featured music from our 2015 lineup, along with a live performance by Justin Giuffre & the Pilgrimage.
  • Johnstown Magazine: The August issue includes a festival feature.
  • WQED/WQEJ FM in Pittsburgh and Johnstown: Festival chairman Todd Wagner was interviewed, and bits of the interview will air on the morning show with Jim Cunningham the week of August 3-7. You can hear the entire interview here.
  • Sunday, August 2 — Daily American (Somerset): A front-page article (behind a paywall, alas) about our festival, featuring an interview with Swampcandy.
  • Monday, August 3 — Tribune-DemocratAn article about a very special story: how the festival helped launch a business — and a marriage.
  • Monday, August 3 — WDVE 102.5, Pittsburgh: Festival chairman Todd Wagner appeared on Randy Baumann’s morning show on WDVE radio, around 9:15 am. (You can hear the interview here.)
  • Tuesday, August 4 — KDKA’s Pittsburgh Today Live: Shelley Johansson appeared on the news-chat show to discuss the festival, and Mark Dignam played.
  • Tuesday, August 4 — Froggy 95, Johnstown: An interview with Miss Tess & the Talkbacks will air at 7:20 am.
  • Wednesday, August 5 — Rocky 99, Johnstown: An interview with Joe Grushecky will air at 7:20 am.
  • Wednesday, August 5 — Pittsburgh City Paper: The festival is a Critic’s Pick!
  • Thursday, August 6 — We’ll run the gauntlet of Johnstown radio stations during morning drive time!
